Wireless vitals

(eHealth Citrine Programme), ‘slimme COVID pleister’

At the end of this project, we will have insight into the extent to which deterioration of vital functions in postoperative patients can actually be reliably picked up with (one of the) wearables. The results of focus groups with patients and healthcare providers will also provide us with insight into the preconditions for using telemonitoring as a safety net in the path from hospital to home in high-risk patients after surgery. The ultimate goal is to use telemonitoring to prevent avoidable complications occurring in hospital or at home after discharge as much as possible and to increase the feeling of safety for patients and their environment.
